Whereas many other plant-based brands still contain artificial perfumes, colorants and the surfactant SLS, all of which can be harsh on the health, Rooted Regimen is free of any artificial or harsh chemicals.

Claims such as "eco-friendly", "plant-based" and "non-toxic" are unregulated and have become commonly used by many brands to green-wash consumers. The only way to really tell if a product is safe and non-toxic is to look up each ingredient in the product, using renowned databases such as the EWG. Unfortunately, brands are not required by law to list out individual ingredients and will often conceal them with generic terms like "non-ionic surfactants", "fragrance", "colorant" and so on, making it impossible to know what actual ingredients are in the product. The single words "fragrance"/"perfume"/ "parfum" on an ingredient list can conceal hundreds of individual chemicals, many of which could be endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs).

Our proprietary All-In-One Concentrate formula contains everything needed to tackle all cleaning jobs at home. Our concentrate contains some of the toughest and safest cleansers, and it has been through countless iterations of formulation and testing to ensure it performs powerfully across all uses.

Brands will often hide tens or even hundreds of chemicals under the words “fragrance”, “perfume”, “parfum” or “natural fragrance” on labels. According to the American Lung Association and Breast Cancer UK, synthetic fragrances in cleaning products can irritate your lungs, eyes and skin, cause allergic reactions, migraines and headaches and can act as hormone disruptors that over time could lead to many illnesses.

Yes, we have developed our All-in-one Concentrate to provide you with flexibility to add your own essential oils.

It is important to note that some essential oils can be irritating and thus contribute to allergies in some individuals when present at a high concentration. So please only add essential oils if you are sure that no one in your home is allergic to them.

If you do decide to add in essential oils, we recommend 100% pure oils. Avoid adding oils into your glass cleaner as this may cause streaking. Also note that it is normal for the solution to turn slightly cloudy after adding in essential oils.
